Facilities
Bunk Rooms
There are four bunk rooms in the centre, sleeping 10 and 6 (upstairs) and 4 and 8 (downstairs). The downstairs rooms have en-suite toilet and shower. All bunks have waterproof mattresses, users are required to bring sleeping bags and pillows. All rooms are heated by electric heaters.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted, with a gas stove, fridge and freezer, hot and cold running water. t is fully supplied with crockery, cutlery and cooking pots. Users of the centre should supply their own tea-towels, dish cloths and washing up liquid.
Dining Area/Lounge
The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen. Folding tables and benches are provided, sufficient to seat a full complement of visitors (but a tight squeeze). There is a small lounge with easy chairs. Both areas are heated by electric log burner effect fires.
Toilet Areas
The downstairs bunk rooms have en-suite toilet, wash basin and shower. The main toilet area is situated downstairs in the centre of the building. There are 2 showers, 1 urinal, 1 toilet cubicle and 2 wash basins. Upstairs there is a toilet and wash basin.
Fred’s Shed
This is our most recent innovation, a recreational area for the young people. There is a traverse climbing wall, a pool table (Free of Charge), a dart board and various board games.
